About the Opportunity

The Sales Consultancy role is both challenging yet rewarding. You will work directly with the Owner and Senior Directors of the company to manageclient leads as well as developing your own.The majority of the client opportunities are in the Financial Services sector and affiliated industries. This is a consultant, commission based position with the opportunity to develop an internal sales team longer term as the firm grows. We are looking for someone who can develop and manage their own schedule to achieve:

  • Meet monthly sales targets and proactively share progress against established goals;
  • Find prospective customers and new target segments;
  • Creating positive and lasting relationships with current and prospective clients;
  • Collaborating with the marketing department to prepare common strategies and drive business development and lead generation strategies.
  • Monitoring competition and follow current developments
  • Always looks for new ways to make products attractive to customers
  • Capture and disseminate leads and sales information to Senior Directors

In addition to the qualifications above, you must possess strong knowledge of premium tours, hotels and cruise products. Along with drive and determination, you also bring a high level of maturity to the table. This will serve you well as you interact with a client list that includes high-level executives with defined needs.

Manager, Content Marketing

The Black Tie Travel team is looking for a prolific and talented content creator to write, design and produce various projects to expand our company’s communication with clients and prospects and expand our digital footprint, awareness, subscribers, and leads. This role requires a high level of creativity, attention to detail, graphic design and project management skills.

Overall, the incumbent’s role is to manage all marketing related content from suppliers and transform this raw data for the consumption by our client.

The incumbent is also responsible for managing and creating a library of all our suppliers products for marketing and sales use by cataloguing all data in the organization’s CRM.

Major Accountabilities:

1. Content Marketing:

  • Create multiple resources each month to drive leads, subscribers, awareness, and/or other important metrics.
  • Publish on all social media accounts to attract site visitors through search, social, and our email subscribers.
  • Grow our subscriber base by providing them regular, helpful content that’s in-tune with their needs via weekly/monthly newsletters as well as ad hoc marketing.
  • Collaborate with product management, sales, and external influencers and industry experts to produce relevant content that meets the needs of our audience.

2. Brand Management:

  • Evolve and ensure consistency and integrity behind our company’s brand and brand guidelines.
  • Lead all design and copywriting.
  • Manage a marketing production calendar and ensure it is being met.
  • Create and improve the company’s creative team and its workflow to build a top-notch operation.
  • Collaborate with company leaders and other key stakeholders on key projects each quarter.

3. Channel Marketing:

  • Manage all channel marketing communications (newsletters, webinars, product notifications, etc.).
  • Optimize and experiment to improve key metrics that both our company and channel partners care about.
  • Create content and other helpful resources to arm our channel partners with everything they need to succeed.
  • Track the efficiency of all channel marketing projects.

4. Other projects and duties as required.

Education/Work Experience/Designations:

  • BA/BS degree and equivalent working experience.
  • Past experience producing content for the web specifically, as well as channel-specific knowledge (Facebook, Twitter, Website Content, etc.)
  • Past experience building audiences either online or offline.
  • A dual-minded approach: You’re highly creative and an excellent writer but can also be process-driven, think scale, and rely on data to make decisions.
  • Excellent eye for design and typography and the ability to deliver constructive feedback on projects to the creative team.
  • Great communicator, both in conveying design best practices and project details/ideas across all levels of the company, including the executive team.
  • Expert in Adobe Creative Suite or similar technologies.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript a major plus.
